Stress, todays brain power killer

t's true, humanity will never escape the information barrage, at least not in the foreseeable future. All the information and choices DOES cause stress. You may say our ancestors had more stress; hunting, foraging and constantly protecting themselves... just to stay alive. But what we live with today is emotional stress, and it's FAR more deadly.

Stress related illness is rampant. We eat crap, we spend too little time is social situations, we spend too much time and energy trying to get rich, when really, if you have shelter and food, the only thing good about money is if it's used to do good. We lack emotional intimacy in our relationships. Emotional intimacy is one of the things that “fuel” us. But I think the greatest cause of stress is when we don't know who we really are. Life is very confusing if we don't know our specific purpose, and we are too easily lost in the “barrage” of information and choices.

We were each created for a very specific purpose. Everything we are, we learn, and every experience we have ever had prepares us for this purpose. But few of us ever find it. And only we can fill the role we were created for. So, if we don't know our purpose, the world simply goes without the good we were created to do. What's awesome about really knowing your purpose and true passion in life, is that no matter what comes your way, no matter how many non-profits, no matter how many twitter followers, no matter how many daily choices demanding our time, you know exactly what you need to pay attention and act on. It's makes everything simpler and far less stressful.

I have a knack for helping find and live their true passion. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to explore yours. Blessings!

Viktor Frankl said, “Everyone has his own specific vocation or mission in life; everyone must carry out a concrete assignment that demands fulfillment. Therein he cannot be replaced, nor can his life be repeated, thus, everyone's task is unique as his specific opportunity to implement it.”

Rain, pt one

Obstacles. Pain, guilt, shame, unforgiveness, comparison, and being angry at God. These are some of the key reasons we get in the way of God's plans of abundance for our lives.
Yes. Comparison is a dream killer. We compare our morality, (at least I didn't do what so and so did). We compare our success by the number or zero's on the end of our salary. It's a bunch of crap, and not how the universe works.
I call his voice and blessing the RAIN, and the things that interfere, our umbrellas. Understand that God's RAIN represents his passion and plan for us. It represents, tears, sorrow, healing, rejuvination, connection and pure love. Understand, more importantly, that the rain falls EQUALLY on us all. It SOAKS us thoroughly. It is the ultimate expression of equal opportunity. God has an equally beautiful and fulfilling plan for each of us. All we need to do is GET OUT OF THE WAY of the brilliant purpose God created each of us to fulfill. Then we can finally realize how silly it is to compare ourselves to anyone else. The RAIN will transform us.
Quit “shoulding” on yourselves, beautiful people.
Quit focusing on your mistakes.
Quit holding grudges.
Quit blaming God for the bad, and not thanking him for all the good.
Quit comparing yourself to ANYONE, and for goodness sake...
Quit TRYING HARDER. (It doesn't work).
All you need to do is put down your umbrella. Stand in the RAIN. Hear it. FEEL it. SOAK in it. Your life will never be ordinary again, once you let go, and ONLY if you let go of your umbrella.
